Met KTK out there around 5:45 with his boat. I started out with spoon or two but they didn't seem to be hitting that, KTK suggested a switch to a dark colored rapala so that's what I used for the rest of the day trolling at different depths. from about 6-8 it seemed to be hitting consistently about every 10-12 minutes or faster. Most were 7-9 inch rainbows, nothing really big enough for me to want to eat so everything was released. I had to go at 9:30 so as KTK was trolling back to the dock I got one more hit that would have been a keeper from the looks of him but he threw the hook. Kutt was using something different on every cast it seems and he was getting hits on a lot of different lures, including some flys. All in all a good day, learned a lot from Kutt and didn't get skunked. Plus it was a great morning out.
