Got to Alder at 3:00. Explored some areas we have never been to before, beautiful lake if you haven't seen the whole lake before. The water temp near rocky point was 49, lot's of snowmelt running in the lake. Fished the no wake zone and caught 2 kokanees about 10 inches. Couldn't find any bass on the backside (very cold water temps). So we drove to the day park where we usually catch allot bass. Found that there were quite a few people in this area. Water temp was 62. We did find bass very shallow. Weren't interested in very much at all. Did have one almost on with a black and white jitterbug. So no bass but two kokes. Beautiful lake.

The wind was up between 10-15 mph. Anyone going in the next few weeks should be very careful, there are allot of logs floating around main lake areas.

The lake looked extremely low when I drove by a couple of weeks ago. How's the launch? I also love to fish Alder.

Water is still really low but it's filling up with all the snowmelt. It is launchable!
