another day at clear got there about 9:30 tried slip bobber first for a couple hours about 7ft. down only one taker about 18in. started trolling about noon with a brown rooster tail. all of the fish we caught were less than 14in. but there were a lot of them. I got hit by four bass that were not more than 4in. all the trout were rainbows no browns today doesn't pay to get a late start on a hot day but the weather was great almost no wind or clouds. we fished most of the east side of the lake and the fish we caught were in 10ft. or less of water. we tried several other colors with no luck. the algae started to get thick about 3:00. the surface temp was about 58 when we started and almost 68 by the end of the day. a lot more boats on the water than the beginning of the week but we had that side all most all to our selves.
