the day was Wednesday, i had just gotten up to get ready for work,i get a phone call, and it was my cousin, he tells me he's going fishing with my brother and a friend and that the lake was hot! there getting bites every cast, i told him i couldn't go i had to go to work, so I'm still getting ready for work and once i get outside the house, it was nothing but clear sky's and a nice sunny morning. So i get the thinking, "well i know i wasn't feeling well yesterday at work" so i called my boss told him i can't make it to work, next thing you now I'm calling my cousin up and told him i just called in sick for work, where are you guys at?, they told me and i went.

So i get around 10-10:15 and started fishing, so about an hour an hour and a half later i haven't caught anything so i said to myself maybe i should've gone to work, well no worrys because i called in sick i just knew something good was gonna come out of it. And it hit me, no too much longer BAMMMM!! all i see is my rod moving up and down so i drop the smoke, grab the pole, yanked it, and oh boy i knew i had a big one! took about a good 5 min to bring her in, 5.5 pounds, 23 inches long!!!
