5/29/2008 9:07:00 AMThere are some huge bass in Silver Lake. My husband caught (and released) several pretty fair sized ones a couple years ago. We didn't fish last year, as the resort was not "officially" open, but the bass are definitely there. :-) May have been too cold...? Last time we were looking for bass, quite a few were spotted over by the lily pads on the north side of the lake, as well as around a few of the private docks. We were at the lake a couple weekends ago - someone caught a 7-lb German Brown trout off the resort dock using a nightcrawler. Right now, nightcrawlers are working great. Good luck to all.
