i got there a little late. there were lots of people out on the lake and it was really sunny and pretty windy. i started off trolling spinners but after about 2 hours of that i tried a rapala to see if i could get any of those impossible to catch bass. i could not catch any :( after that i broke down and used worms. i used a worm four corkies and about a half ounce of lead on a 5 foot leader trolling s l o w l y and had some bites but when i sped up to turn around i got a little one. then i switched back to lures and caught one and lost one on a small silver mepps. then i did not catch anything for a few hours so when the wind died down (about 6 ish?) i put on a plain worm and went as fast as my electric motor would go in and s pattern and trolled down the middle of the lake. i probably looked like and idiot swerving so fast but i caught three more fish so i don't care. i had to keep one cause it swallowed it but i gave it to a family fishing at the launch. after i caught those 4 fish on bait i switched to a hand tied wooley bugger and trolled it around the lake with my pole held high so it would stay near the surface (ounce again i probably looked weird). i hooked at least 10 doing this but i just could not hang on to them but i did end up getting one. the fishing really picked up for me once the wind died but others seemed to do good all day. all fish caught were small lost a decent one and most were in the middle but some right along the far shore
