Went out on West Medial about 8AM with my kid from the public launch area. Rented a row boat and brought my own electric motor. Staff at the launch was GREAT helping me load my boat with those heavy batteries. (I'm disabled) We were both trolling with Jack Lloyds and a wedding rings at the ends. One poll had a worm on the wedding ring - the other one had corn. (yellow death as my buddy calls it! ;-) The pole with the worm seem to be getting more hits. We caught many rainbows in the first few hours and lost a few along the way. Had a GREAT time. Things called off dramatically at about Noon. However, we kept going to till about 2PM. Never picked up and didn't get many bites the last 2 hours. Many people were fishing off the shores and from boat using bait and they all seem to be catching fish. Happy Day on the lake!
