My buddy and I hit the lake at 5:45 am, first on the lake. With in 5 min Charles had landed the first of the day, 12" with a lot of girth. She had a lot of fight in her. By 6 am we had several bites but only landed one, lost three right at the boat because of the large wakes caused by the skier who showed up right before 6 am. We had to put up with the large wakes for about 2 and half hours. After which we caught one after another, it slowed down here and there but we had a lot of laughs and caught sum really nice fish. We trolled up and down but had the most luck on the east side of the lake, close to the resorts. We couldn't even ask for a more beautiful day. Keep the waters clean and have fun.
