Started the day with a 4:30 am pick up from fishinislife.We headed to the lake too meet up with Trent Hale.We were in the water around 5:30 am.This being my first time fishing this lake I was surprised how the lake is set up.I think it around 15 acres and the launch is the only sloped area of the lake.The rest is a peat bog that seems to be about three foot thick then undercuts.So it seems a lot of it floating bog.While in my float tube I investigated the edges of the lake ran my flippers around found out the bank undercuts pretty goood.I couldn't tell yall the water temp but in my words pretty darn warm almost lukewarm bath water.I trolled around a olive and also a tan hares ear nymph I picked up 1 trout on the hares ear nymph.Then switched to the sink line and a green mocco (one of the flys I got from the fly swap we all did in Dec.)picked up about three more.They all were this years plants but they a lot fatter than some of the ones from other lakes just not a lot of length.While I was trout fishing while fishnislife and Trent were after the bass trying to get the lake figured out.This being my first time out with Trent I would have to say this guy is full of info and a lot of knowledge about the lakes in our area.Great guy if yall get the chance to fish with definitely seize the oppurtunity.They ended up getting a few strikes from the bass.After awhile they switched over to trout I saw them pick up few trolling Rapalas and flat fish.So all in all a great experience on the lake and a good company made up for the rain.Thanks yall I had fun.Oh and Mike Carey thanks for adding this lake to list.
