Arrived @ Liar's Cove on the 19th and tried the upper lake by the spillway for 2 days and it was LOUSEY! 1 fish about 12".
Decided to fish off the nice dock at Liar's Cove in the morning on the 21st using orange rubber powerbait, marshmellow and Mike's anise oil and boy did they bite!
Limited in about 45min.
The wife finally woke up and came down and did the same. We each caught 4 - 12" and 1- 16" (which weighed in at about 2lbs). Lake was filling rapidly (4' a day) and is probably flowing over the spillway by now.
Also, they still have the $250.00 tagged fish in the lower reservoir which is up for grabs!
I would highly recommend Liars Cove to stay, 2 nice docks, boat rentals, and the owners leave you alone but, are more than willing to help if asked!
