Went to Green Lake with my son today. Fished from one of the docks at the south end from about 3:00 to 5:00, using mainly half crawlers under sliding bobbers, 4 feet down. The action was slow, but somewhat steady - about 15 to 20 minutes between bites. My son got 3 average sized stockers, which were all released, and I got 2 which we kept due to the fact that they would not have survived. One was a very nice 2-pounder, and the largest I've ever landed at Green Lake. All in all, with the chaotic business of the rowing teams going on around us (sometimes harshing our mellow), it was an afternoon well spent. Green Lake offers a decent in-city fishery, as long as you're able to cope with the crowds.
