Went back to Jump off with a friend from the west side of the state and really had a great time. I really have to say that I think I may have jumped the gun when condemning the Jump Off Joe Resort. They were really pleasant and really made the experience painless. The boat rentals are dirt cheap ($13 row $27 motor). In all honesty I must have just caught them on a bad day last time. The fishing remains excellent for brown and I even caught a few brookies. Had a few get away that were easily a couple of pounds. If you want to catch the larger ones use a larger hook. You'll get less fish but the size will make all the difference. One of the best things about this lake is the lack of litter. I think the management does a really good job keeping the place clean.
