Went out today and had a blast. Caught well over 35 pumpkinseed throwing nightcrawlers and then i was fishing for bass and had caught a couple when I saw IPODRODDER so we fished together the rest the day and we were working an area when we saw a 3lb bass on a bed. The fish would not hit anything so we left it alone. We were about 3/4 down the lake when i came to this dock and the homeowners were outside and said they sometimes see schools of fish swim by. So i casted a nightcrawler right next to the dock and let it fall and hit bottom and I was talking to IPOD for about two minutes, when i decided to reel in and Cast to the next spot. So i start reeling up the slack and my 4'6 UL with 4 pound test starts bending in half and i think i am snagged when i feel a little thump i was like this is a huge fish. So i start reeling and IPOD thinks i have a small one well it took me 5 minutes to get it to the surface but i landed it and it was a 5lb largemouth. My personal best so far.
