Went to Tapps to try out a different motor and hopefully catch some fish. The motor ran great and was faster and quieter than the old one...not too shabby. Took my son ('lil-bert) and 200Subaru (it was 200Subaru's birthday and his boat is getting a makeover). We fished the later morning and it was slow going. 2000Subaru was nailing them on a shaky head with the killer secret plastic, including the 2lb 7oz pig in the photo. We saw a monster tiger that was minding his own business in a shallow rocky area soaking up the indirect UV. Threw bucktails and x-raps at him but he just gave us the fin and swam off with his mouth open. We saw a bass under a dock that kept looking at our stuff and swimming off. Finally tossed what was on 'lil-bert's kiddie rod ugly stick and the bass nailed it. He wouldn't reel it in, but he was pretty happy to see the fish.
