Went to the DNR launch at around 10 am. Worked the shoreline towards the Dam. Daughter caught alot of Sunny's and Perch on small jigs, the Son was fishing for the Big ones and landed this one on a spinner bait purple in color. In about 6 ft of water. Nice sunny day, the water is still pretty cold at around 60. We caught a couple of small mouths and a few large mouths.

"Always catch and release"

Lots of junk still floating, watch out.

The LMB was 6lb on our scale, and 22".
The Pike Master name comes from the Minnesota days. I've heard they have Pike in Lake Spokane so I'll be looking for them soon. New to the lake so it might take awhile to find them. I have a small boat so it's hard to put in at the other end of the lake right now.
Have a great time fishing.

how far away from the shore were you catching the bass? Do they seem to be aggressive? Also at the boat launch is it open 24hrs? How much to launch? What does DNR stand for? Sorry for all the ?'s I am really new to bass fishing.
Thanks

We caught them about 15 yards off shore casting in. Did not seem very aggressive to me.
No charge at the DNR, its open 6am til 9 or 10 pm. Very busy place on the weekends.
Everybody their seems great, they will let you know whats working for the day and how deep ect...

Long has pike, though I havn't fished them in there yet.I've heard mixed reports of how well the bite is. If you want some other good pike spots other than Idaho, check out the Pend Oreille River north of Spokane. That place is on fire with awesome pike action.Theres even some recent reports under the "river"reports.
Good luck out there

Pike Master, you are still launching down past tum tum right? I went there the other day and cought 10 smallies and a large mouth, nice place but quite a drive ya know with these darn gas prices and all. I headed left from the launch, i think next time i will head right. I only have a lil 5 speed trolling moter. So i am kinda limited ya know.
