Started fishing around 10am. Had about 8 kokanee landed by 11 and about 6 more by noon. There are fish all over in this lake, you just got to work for them. Didn't see anything else caught by any other anglers today. I have found than when the kokanee are being stingy you need to take off all the gang troll (pot gear) fish with your lure and your lure only. Most of our luck came from using a lead core line about 4 colors out fishing with a Blue Fox-Pixee Spoon (rainbow trout) slow fish it super slow from about 0.8 mph to 1.2 S line trolling lanes. After catching about 12 kokanee my wife and I headed towards the lilly pad cove in the NE side of the lake. Casted spinners for about an hour caught 1 smallmouth, 5 perch and 1 nice rainbow all released. We are all about catch and release but kokanee are great eating fish and the daily limit is 10 per day per license. All bass we catch are always released. I am not the best bass fisherman and would love to learn some Lake Stevens or Lake Cassidy hot spots or techniques. If you have any secrets or hints you may want to drop my that would be great. Still have never caught a largemouth bass would love to land one. Nic_Farley83@yahoo.com and info is well appreciated. Thanks and Tight Lines.
