Which lauch is the DNR launch? I'm familiar with the launch by the little spokane dump in (where the water is really moving right now). I'm also familiar with the one at the far North end past Tum Tum. Is it either of these?

Wow, those are some awsome fish, that smallie must have been an awsome fight. I fished across the lake friday evening and i came up with very few and small. i had better luck last time heading left from the launch and cought a lot of smallies but nothing with any size. You say you are slow reteriving a worm(sinko like) about 20 yards out. That is cazzy, must need lots of patients huh? there is a lot of crap floating in that area where you are fishing(20 yards out). But anyhow, nice largemouth also that had to go over 5lbs.

We did go to the left off the launch, fished right in on top off the junk floating. (good shade for the fish) Let the worm sink and slow roll in.
Then worked the shoreline back to the launch at about 20 yrds out. Again let it sink, kind of a jig action back to the boat.

Awsome and thanks for the info. I will try using that not just here but at lther locations as well. Each cast must take quite a while i can emagin. Also, y they heck do you guys be fising in middle of the day and not in the evening or the morning. That always kina puzzled me.
