7/6/2008 7:02:00 PMWow, nice fish you guys landed. They run about 5lbs a piece? Ya i agree with you on the boaters, they have no respect for others. THat pisses me off. I only have a 12 foot aluminum boat so i really have a hard time going some places. If i fish long i goto the dnr past tum tum but i have not been producing much down there. where do you guys launch? the $7 fee place right after nine mile falls? Well anyhow, awsome fish man, i am going to go hit newman lake up early tomorrow morning? Anyone have any tips on newman for me? I am going to try top water pretty hard in the morning.

7/6/2008 8:02:00 PMnewman is a tough lake i would suggest fishing in 6-12 foot of water using brush hogs or any slow presentation plastics

7/6/2008 8:12:00 PMWe Launched at nine mile state park. I did not have a scale with me that day but I would guess theywent about 5 pounds each, we got 3 that size and a bunch of 2 lb smallies. I agree with BASSMAN1 if your going to fish Newman take your time and fish slow. Have a GOOD TIME
