Got to Riffe around 7 A.M. and there was no one coho fishing except my boat. We killed 10 fish in about 2 hours and they were still biting when we left. They seemed to take anything that a typical coho would enjoy devouring. We were trolling at coho speeds(1.8 mph) and were only down 20 feet. I would suggest that people who go there for their first time do not use wedding rings. It is a commonly mistaken that these fish are kokanees, they are not. They are landlocked coho, and are exactly like a coho that you would find in the salt water. The entire lake is filled with these fish, and they are one of the best lake fish that you can eat. Great table fair. Near the dam seems to usually hold a lot of fish but you can find them all the way to kosmos. Good luck and may the coho be plentiful.
