Figured I'd make something outta a Sunday evening, went back to my spot and started working some shore around 7:30 pm. Threw a small Strike King spinnerbait for a half hour with no luck, switched up rods to a small texas rigged 4 inch curly tail worm. Watermelon with black flake and I immediately was getting a ton of bites. Problem was, they were just dinks just nipping at the tail of that bait. Worked it for a full hour and landed 4, but nothing over 9-10 inches. Nothing big at all, at least I was fighting them on a 6' Light action rod, made it somewhat enjoyable, although minimal at best. No pictures, just wanted to return these small guys back to the water asap....Took some casts with the other rod with the spinnerbait in that 8-9pm timeframe, but no luck on that. Didn't even touch my rod with my crankbait....
Hopefully this better weather in the forecast gets the bass more active...
