Hit the water about 8am, trolled a bit. Nothing hit the lines. Decided to try still fishing on the east side of the lake, but out in deeper water (20-24 ft). Three poles in the water on the bottom and we all had limits in about 3 hours. Most about 9-12 inches in size, although my dad caught a nice one that we think weighed about a pound. We used power bait (rainbow and chartreuse) and also red salmon eggs. Water was about 70 degrees, kind of overcast with marine clouds. We saw a few other boats on the lake, one looked like they were bass fishing, one was trolling for trout and a third was still fishing. They were fishing shallow and only caught one trout between the 3 of them.
Boat launch could be a challenge for some anglers. You launch into a creek bed. Could stand some improvement by the State.
Had a blast! Will definitely try this lake again!
