Decided to go back out to Bitter lake since it's close, and I always re-read a guys report from last year with a size-able LMB.
So anyway, I left all my comfort baits at home, and brought nothing but hardcore bass stuff. I started casting a small green grub towards the lilies. After about 15 min. I saw an area that was shaded, I threw it over, and bam, fish on. I thought that I was snagged at first.. LOL and it turned out to be a 14" LMB. My first LMB ever. I then began to troll the same grub behind the tube going along the entire shoreline staying 6' outside of the lilles. Awhile later I hit another 13" LMB, then before I went home I landed 2 small rock bass, and lost a couple other fish, one of which I believe was another LMB. Obviously these still aren't very big fish, but it 's a **** of a lot better than the rock bass. As usual nobody on the lake, very underfished lake. Sunny, etc.
