Hit Coffin from my float tube from about 1 to 6. I was hoping for some perch action in addition to the LMB, but only saw bass and a couple of trout. Don't know why trout are hitting on a 5 inch senko, but whatever. I ended up catching around 5 bass, and probably losing twice that many. I don't know if I was rigging wrong or what but I had a hard time hooking and holding them. I'm new to bass fishing so perhaps my hook set was late, or my hooks were a little small for the size of my senko. I had the most luck near the pads on the upper end of the lake (near the inlet). I wouldn't say the action was fast and furious, but for a beginner it wasn't bad. Lots of weeds and I still want to get into the perch, but maybe next time. Hard to find them without electronics I think.
