Make short casts into the holes between lily pads. Braided is best in that situation. It's thin enough to work well w/light lures but cuts through soft vegetation like a hot knife through butter. Don't worry about using a leader on Cassidy. That water is so stained, the fish will not be able to see your line. On the down-side, it also means that you've got to put your lure right in their face or they won't see it at all. Don't waste time trolling around looking for that "perfect spot". Hit them all! If the bass aren't along the shoreline, don't hesitate to turn around and cast into open water. Cassidy is pretty warm these days and the bass may prefer deeper water. (15+ feet)
