Brother Inlaw & i got to the lake at 6 in the morning. Lake had a layer of fog on it, was looking to be a great day so we thought. Got on the water and went and dropped a crayfish trap hoping that we could maybe get some which we didn't. Does anyone know if this lake has any in it? We started the day by fishing a few yards from the resort dock, using worms. With in a couple of minutes Josh had a nice hit and as it came to the boat it let go, was a nice one at that. So a few minutes later he lands a Perch, a very nice one as well. Then not long after that i caught myself a small baby bass lol. Well we was thinking we should be doing well the way it was looking. However, after an hour on the lake, it died like you wouldn't believe. By 3, we only had three trout to show for, each being nice keepers. However we did everything that we had at them, used red, pink, you name it we used it. We even tried trolling......nothing there. The three that was caught was spread out over a couple of hours at a time. there was people on the dock, didn't see them catch anything. As we was heading out at 3, we talked to another boat that came in and they didn't have any luck either. Might be just how the weathers been who knows. But we will be back later to work this lake again.
