Hit one of our favorite spots near the Rainier Beach Launch with bassfanatic,..we decided 2 D-Shot because we were on a dock and the water was 30 feet deep,..used various colored Senkos with no takers,..a few small Perch hits and nothing else,..stayed with the D-Shot for about 1 hr and got bored so I picked up my Baitcaster that already had a Jointed Perch-Rap tied 2 it,..went 2 the other side and casted in between a pontoon float and the dock,..slow steady retrieve and I seen a Smallie come out of no where and start 2 follow,..about 3 more feet and BAM,..maybe 1 foot under the clear water and about 20 feet from me,..it was the coolest thing to see,..actually the 1st time I've seen a surface strike ever,..actually seen the Bronzie hit my lure,..anyways the Smallie was a Dink but very aggressive and it was so fun 2 catch I just had 2 share!
