Decided to hit up Stevens instead of the usual Lake Washington. We even thought we would use the same techniques that have proved successful at Washington. But no luck with that. We switched back to Senkos, and still nothing. Lowvw got one medium perch, a small SMB, and one good sized trout. ME = Zero. :(

Better luck next time I suppose.

I saw that there were two Lake Stevens reports and I wanted to offer a tip. I fished Stevens this past Sunday (9/14) and landed 23-3/4 lbs. for my best 5 smallmouth. One of those was a topwater fish and the rest were suspended over DEEP water. Don't be afraid to check different depths and other parts of the water column for late summer/fall transition smallies. Good luck!

Oh we know about the deep divers. They are what works so well at Lake Washington. Thanks though.
