Fished the deep weedlines on the south end of the lake from 8:30am-1:30pm. Had trouble locating bigger fish, but once I did, the ice chest starting filling fast. I was using white curly tails and chartreuse curly tails on 1/16 oz jig heads tipped with maggots at first, then perch meat. A dab of smelly jelly seemed to help as well. The bigger fish (9-14 inch) were in 20-30 ft of water on the bottom. They seem to be suspending at times and moving frequently. Water temp was around 65 degrees. I ended up bringing home 21 fish 9" or bigger. Threw back about the same amount that didn't make length.
