Hey all fellow south enders (south King county).....I saw a report on here a few months back about there being some nasty trout in here with "maggots" hanging off of them, or sores. Well I hit it up for about an hour and a half this morning and I caught 3 nice rainbows and no sores, no parasites, no "maggots" to be seen. It was actually pretty nice, there was still fog on the lake, I got there just before 9 and I left at 10: 40. My son and I had the lake all to our selves! I was marking a school of fish on the Northwest side of the lake, and I couldn't figure out if it was Bass or Trout. I kept throwing different lures down there, and on the last pass I finally landed one....it was a perch! People have told me about perch in this lake, and I never believed them because I've fished it so much and never seen or caught one. Do yourself a favor, go hit this lake up between 8PM and 11AM or 5PM and 8PM, you'll catch fish, and they look clean!

Thanks Kev....oh by the way, I cleaned those fish and the meat is nice and red. Best lookin' fish I've seen out of this lake! I haven't cooked em yet, hopefully there won't be any muddy taste to them.

Interesting, Ive never really had any luck at this lake fishing but I really like the place for resreation. Guess I'll try to target the time slots you mentioned.
