Was bored today. Decided to try out Meridian. Only 2nd time this summer. I usually stop going once school gets out due to the crowds.

Anyways, got there about roughly 5:30PM. Fished off the North side of the dock. I was throwing kastmasters and some spinners. Caught 2 koks with my kastmasters and missed 4 bites. All small and still silver. Roughly 10-11". I lost one of my kastmasters on the 2nd fish. I was trying to grab my spoon out of it's mouth but all of a sudden, my line broke at my knot. Was a fresh knot too.

There was a couple of russians fishing for whatever. 1 of them was nailing a bunch of tiny perch and a few sunfish.

2 couple other guys were fishing. 1 of them was using a weightless nightcrawler. The other I think just a bottom rig worm. Both caught a couple decent size trout. Roughly 13". And one of them was super fat. Saw they caught a few dinks too.


Oh yeah, it's getting cold out there. When I was driving past the temp signs, it was 54 degrees. On the water, it's a tad bit windy. My hands were numb by the time I was done at 6:45PM.
