1/12/2009 11:00:00 PMa 18 inch trout is a nice fish "I don't care who you are". Nice pic of it too. It sure feels good to see the ole pole bent and the fish pulling.
Good luck with the next trip out.

Went to Blackman's lake with my buddy Joe. We hit the east side dock, it was peaceful there. But we could see that the dock by the boat launch was pack with tons of fisherman. I'm glad they didn't come over to where we were at.
It started of slow, but at about 9am the other guy on the dock with us started to catch some fish. We check out what he was doing and tried it too. He was very nice, and gave of a few tips. As soon as we change up gear, we started to catch fish. the bite only lasted to about 10:30. At around 9:45 i got a nice bite, the fish was fighting nice. It bent my medium light pole over with no problem. Once it got close, i realize how big it was. Got it in the net, and put it on the scale. It weight 2.2 pounds and was 18inches long. Its nothing special, but was a fun day on the water.
