What a couple of days I had out battling the wind and snow but as you all know the fish don't care about the weather..I have been trolling the lower Basin in depths from 170 to 220ft. to find the biting fish..Using cut bait of Northern Pike Minnow has been the ticket here...I believe that I had over 20 bites on Friday and boated 9 Lakers + 1 Chinook that I released unharmed..Speed was bouncing between 1.3 and 1.8 mph due to a wind gust that was blowing all day right out of the east at about 15 to 20 mph COOOOLD...Thanks a Bunch for battling the wind and the weather to Bill Friedel, Derek Friedel, and Pat Ruane for fishing with me.
