3/5/2009 7:26:00 AMAre you a Lake Stevens regular? I fished it last weekend and caught one very nice cutt but after 5 hours that was it (not complaining). Pulled a variety of hardware around the north end of the lake, including a dodger/nightcrawler combo and pop gear/needle fish on the downrigger. The hardware failed but there is always one more thing in the box, my cutt chased down a flat-lined olive woolly bugger. I fished the lake frequently 20 years ago. At the time my primary target was Kokenee and I fished the lake after the water warms up. Any thoughts on technique, depths, location or baits/lures for the spring trout in lake stevens?
