Fished from 4 pm till about 7pm. Got 1 bite and no fish. Fished at the launch from the dock. Used all kinds of marshmallows with worms, tried rapala, worm and bobber. Temp in low 30's with snow for the first couple hours.

On the other hand, there was a small boat on the lake that was fishing little past the dock and out further some more. It appeared they were using rapalas (looked silver color to me). Saw them pull out at least 4 brown trout 14 inches and up within 40 minutes. They took pictures and released them.

Got skunked!

That is the nature of Browns, and the shallow fishing location at the Liberty Lake public access. When the fish are in, you do well, when they are not, and that is most of the time, it can be hard. Personally, I have never done will with marshmallows or powerbait on Browns. They work well on bows, cutts, and about everything else, but not for browns. Next time, try to use a type and size of bobber, better yet a slip bobber, to get you out farther. Also, cut bait can be excellent when they don't want worms. Still, I would have fished worms first, just as you did.

sorry about your luck. if you use some spoons and powerbait and get it out about 40 yds, you'll catch them like not other
