Put out on Lake Washington from Coulon park at 7:30 am and fished till 3ish. We were chasing the smallies since i caught a big one last week. Went to the same spot, marked quite a few fish. Moved back and forth over them for an hour or two. Threw lots of different plastic at them, lots of different rigs, but mostly drop shoting it. Nothing doin. So we move on to see if we can find a new spot. Went all the way to the I-90 bridge. Marked a few fish under it so we stoped and fished for a while there. There were a few other boats there too. By the volume of the curse words coming from one of them on a missed strike, i think its safe to say noone was doing to well today. No bites there, so we went back south toward the mouth of the ceder river and trolled for 2 or so hours for cutthroat. Were not seeing many fish with the fish finder. Used wedding rings and downrigers. Weather was beautiful. Mostly clear skys. Actualy got a little red on my face from the sun. Got skunked today. Wish i knew a little more about where to find the smallies, anyone got any info to share would be on my christmas card list.
