This is one of those days that I will never forget..Weather conditions were tough with snow but it didn't matter to the fish..We fished the Lower trench of Lake Chelan targeting fish in the 165 to 220ft depths to produce my personal best this year of 19 laketrout in 4hrs..I fished a strip of Northern pikeminnow on a mooching rig for the best bait..Trolled speeds 1 to 1.5 mph back and forth in the lower lake off Rocky Point..I believe we had 30 hits which is a very outstanding day. Most of the fish were in that 3 to 5lb. range and the bellys were stuffed full of the shrimp..If your looking to head to Chelan your definitely making the right choice..Not too many lakes you can catch trout by the pounds and not the inch without a daily limit.
