We fished Lake Stevens Saturday afternoon. As we trolled all over the lake the weather was nippy but beautiful. Trolling, we got 0 for 0 pulling woolly buggers and an orange wedding band spinner. A couple trolling around in an aluminum rig with a blue top got a couple nice fish (I don’t know what they were using but I think that the fish liked the blue top). We ended the day anchored at the north end of the lake. With a bobber and a worm on one rod and power bait on the other the great fish god took pity on us and sent near limits our way. We probably could have limited but in order to keep the fishing partner a future fishing partner we had to head in, something about being cold, having to use the port-a-potty and being hungry. Hmmm…I should have brought something to eat. Oh well a fun day, a little sun and a fish dinner.

12'-19' depending on the wind. I dropped only one hook in 14' of water just off the swim beach. The depth at the transducer varied depending on what direction the boat was pointing as it swung on the anchor.
