With the recent plants I thought it would be nice to take the kids down to the lake where they might see some action. We should have gone to Gissberg instead.

The southern area by the stadium was packed for some kind of race. So we went to the dock at the east end by the community center/pool.

We tried cheese, worms and a few different kinds of spinners. There was another guy there doing powerbait off the bottom. No bites, no nothing. We did see what looked like a bald eagle flying around nearby - that was cool.

Green Lake is such a big lake so it might be a challenge finding the schools of plants recently put in the lake. The bite at Gissberg was fairly consistent but the twin lakes are much smaller so the chances of finding the fish from shore are much higher.

I went yesterday and fished all around the boat house area and outside of one small hit could find nothing at all.
