Lots of people down there today. There was also lots of fish they were jumping all over and I figured I was going to do very well with my fly rod. The first couple casts I had a few bites and I had about ten little 8 inchers follow my little streamer in but they just would not take it. after a few more casts I landed one about 9 inches and turned it loose. Then the wind kicked up and I did not catch any fish for a while. Toward evening the wind died down and they started jumping again and I ended up catching 2 more fish. Some guys in pontoon boats did very well parked by the cattails and the best thing to use seemed to be rooster tails. None of the fish I saw caught were over a foot but there was not exactly alot of fish caught compared to how many people were fishing and how many fish were jumping.

All 3 of the fish I caught were released.
Fly had a black body pearl flashy tail and a prop in front.
It was pretty sunny most of the day, rained a little.
