I busted my rear to get the boat ready to put in the water. The dock is not out yet at the public launch which made it a little difficult. The launch was packed with people. No one was catching any anywhere. Got there about 4pm and fished all my favorite spots. Tried all my best stuff from the tackle box. Stayed till dusk. Was a beautiful day couldn't ask for more except maybe a few fish. Not even a bite. I could see them on the bottom with my fish finder but they were not interested. According to wdfw they put in 350 brood stock last month.

Couldn't find them. The brownies that are being reported were planted last year.

I know that there are giant walleye in liberty but never caught one. The community colleges came out last year and used nets for a walleye survey. They hualed in some big ones. I've never fished for walleye. Don't really know how to fish for them. Anyone had luck with walleye at Liberty?

I heard that the public bank/dock was full of people catching fish yesterday????? Probably a fish story. LOL. The walleye can be caught with a jig bouncing off the bottom or sometimes trolling plugs for trout people will pick some up.
