I've been fishing these lakes since I started driving and have never seen it so crowded as last weekend - I guess good lake reports really draw the crowds looking for a quick limit. I don't think the parks dept was prepared for so many visitors either, the single outhouse was a mess and garbage overflowed the trash can and was stacked and spread around it. I've always hauled my garbage out, knowing these isolated lakes don't get serviced regularly. The fishing was not bad, but I think we'll be looking for a new fishing hole away from the crowds. These seep lakes are not stocked with catchable size fish like the lakes closer in to civilization, so they'll be over harvested soon enough and I'll return in the fall when the fish and crowds are gone.
