Upon leaving Bass lake the three of us (Nathan, David and I) headed over to Lake Number 12. This was another beautiful lake and we fished the area around the public launch. There were 3 boats out doing some trout fishing. The trout were jumping everywere but no bass seemed to be humgry for what I was offering them. I am still trying to hook that first keeper on the jig and I am working it the best I can. I know once I catch something on it it will begin to raise my confidence with it. I tried jigs again, plastics (both kreature and senko) and also crank baits as I tried and match the jumping fish all around me. No takers today but do want to give this lake another look. Water temps ran aroun 51 which was a little warmer than Bass Lake earlier in the day.
