It was a beautiful evening and I got off work early, so took my wife and little girl to Beaver. Lots of people fishing, but those fishing from the launch said nothing was biting. Headed out just to spend some time on the water. My daughter (3 year old) and I dropped a couple of worms on hooks in and just piddled around to the top of the lake and and back very slowly. Had one nibble and then one good hook up that I guess was not hooked while enough because half way back to the boat I handed the pole to my daughter and by the time she reeled it in the hook was empty. At least there was a moment of excitement. Saw the osprey fishing again. At least they caught something. Lots of fish surfacing especially at 7pm when we were getting off the water. Saw one fly fisherman in a float tube pull one in. Great evening on the water....no fishy though.
