We were on pontoon boats and unfortunately the wind started blowing so we were never able to stay in one spot, I need to remember my anchor next time. There were weeds everywhere which made it kinda hard to fish, but we threw some plastics around anyway in the deeper or weedless pockets we could find. Only one small fish ended up being caught. One problem i noticed was the fact that once it got deeper I wasn't able to see any bottom structure, since I don't have a fish finder. I think i just wont be able to fish this lake very effectively until it warms up more and the fish move shallower. I also tried a little bit of perch fishing but since I had no way of telling depth (and I wouldn't know where to look for them anyway) it didn't work out. I will have to try this later in the year once things warm up a little.

With all the grass growing in this lake, I imagine buzzbaits would be deadly once the water warms up. I'm waiting for the summer to come out and hit it with warm water and some serious topwater action in the shallows.
