Me and fishingboy went fishing by the stadium dock today at green lake we arrived there at about 12:30 p.m. when we got their we saw a guy fly fishing who had no luck. a couple minutes later he lands a nice fat 15 inch triploid. and 2 more 12 inch planters on back to back casts before we could even get our line in the water.i started off throwing a 1/4 oz kastmaster with no luck. switched to some rooster tails and a fish creek spinner with no luck. then i dug up some worms and put an egg and a whole worm on a j hook under a bobber. worked like a charm missed fish as they would come and go. it would be 2-3 hits and then nothing for awhile. ended up landing 2 fish and losing 1 at the dock. they were 2, 12 inch planters tasted nice wasnt too bad. fishingboy didnt catch anything as he was trying to go for bass all the time. the guy fly fishing caught his last fish at about 3:30.
