Wife and I hit the lake around 6:30 and got our first bite fifteen minutes on the lake casting to the reeds on the west shore.15 inch bow turned out to be the best of the day. Worked a fallen tree near the north end throwin a rainbow rapala and bam..Could swore that was a bass by the hard hit and came out of the water, unfortunetly didn't stay on..Spent the next 2 hours trolling bringing in many small 6 to eight inchers..Left the lake with only two worth keepin..Last half of the day was windy and cold..Fish just stopped hitting..You know I heard that having bananas in your bought is bad luck..Well they were fine for us until we ate the bananas and then the whole lake stopped...SORRY!

I have heard that so many times and many really believe it! I noticed a couple times I had bad fishing when I had some bananas nearby so no more bananas for me while fishing!... :)

Was a commercial salmon troller until the Boldt decision, then a guide. Have never seen one bit of scientific research that says anything about bananas, but I know and have known many super fishermen, who won't let you near a boat of theirs with a banana!

The thing about bananas is that back during world war two they used banana boats to carrie ammunition and they became targets. so from there the story changes to bananas are bad luck in boats.
