AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats all that can describe this opening day for me and my buddy. We went out at 8am and started fishing with flies on the surface first fish on 30 seconds later. This was the way it went the whole day as we proceeded to catch and release 135 trout. Yes you read it right 135!!!!!!!!!! I was truely amazed. My forearms are sore from catching so many fish. What an opening day. Fish were anywhere from 8-12 inches.

Thats the rule of u are fishing bait. Lures you may catch and release as many as you want. Also all the fish were lip hooked.

What FM says is true. If using bait or even scented lures, then you are required to stop once the daily limit has been caught.

"that is ok for single point barbless hooks with no bait or scent only, i believe"

Wrong

If you are not fishing with bait, and not using scents, which also count as bait, and the fish are not injured, there is no limit to the catch and releasing of trout, in most cases. Instead of wondering while challenging others, or believing me outright, read the rules, which are three mouse clicks away on WL.com: Home, Links, 2009 Fishing Regulations.
