We fished the 25th and 26th with no luck at all. We tried bobbers and off the bottom with different powerbait and I also tried fly fishing to no luck. My father and brother did pretty well though. The water felt as if it's still pretty cold so we will be going back and giving it another try in a few weeks. But I must say we did have a blast camping for five days and just relaxing despite the weather.

Mineral can be testy sometimes. Next time, try trolling popgear with a wedding ring and chunk of nightcrawler or worm, or try powerbait (rainbow or sherbet) on a #4 egghook, 5' of 4# maxima clear leader and about 1/4 oz. slip sinker. Still fish at the far end of the lake and or troll around all the edges in 25' of water. This method has got me lots of fish in the past. Good Luck Keefers6!

powerbait always does well there. around the resort dock, or on the far side where the creek dumps in

I have been going there for as long as I can remember and I have always used powerbait rainbow, charchues and orange and have always done well. I don't know maybe this is an off year for me out there. Like I said the wife and I will go stay in my dads camp trailer in a couple week and try it again.
