No photos today, but managed to pull a set of smallies into the boat. I had a two hour window without the kids and met up with four friends having a sausage boil (all in a small bass boat). I took the one of them into the Skeeter with me and we went a fishing. I pulled two and plastics and cranks all in 6-8 feet of water. Still cloudy and cold (54), but they are starting to get real active and hungry. Wish I could have been out longer, but had to get the rugrats. I may have seen BillG out on the water fishing muskie, glad to see he could get out on such a nice day. Oh, I also had a meeting with the Bonney Lake Water Police. They were waiting at the dock when I got back with my trailer. Only an offering of a courtesy vessel inspection...passed with flying colors of course, even had the boaters education card! I was their first of the year, and it was not akward for either of us!

Lake is too cloudy still to get good visibility, and I can not say that I have ever seen a smallie on a bed in Tapps. I have a good idea where to look though. There was no real size to them at all, like most of the smallies in the lake. They were both under two pounds.
