Had to try the dolly I made for my jon boat by wheeling it down to Rotary.I hardly fish this lake because its quite a haul for a boat, battery, motor, etc. It should be pretty easy now because I just slap the dolly under the boat strap it down and its like a great big wheel barrow.I just have to place the battery in the right spot to balance it out.Alot of the lakes here in Yakima county are walk in access so this is the reason why I made this thing. There were a couple of float tubers out there besides me.I felt sorry for them because the wind was blowing pretty good, so I know they really had it rough.Everyone seemed to be catching fish, but they were rather small.I took my portable fishinbuddy depth finder, and I marked quite a few fish. Most of the fish I caught were on the east side of the weedline that runs all the way across the lake at the midway point. At 55 degrees youd think the fish would be a little bit more active.Still I caught about 10 fish(9 inches or so) all released.Next time I think I'll use my fly rod.
